Oba Femi sent Brock Lesnar a violent message before their Hell in a Cell clash at SummerSlam.
The confrontation began with Paul Heyman trying to keep both monsters apart. Heyman said he wanted to protect his investment and revealed that he had gone through legal channels to secure a restraining order.
Heyman claimed the order prevented Oba Femi from coming within 100 feet of Brock Lesnar. He also said he had a restraining order issued against Lesnar, trusting that his own client would enforce it out of loyalty.
“I got a restraining order. A restraining order on Oba Femi. So that Oba Femi cannot come within 100 feet of Brock Lesnar.”
Heyman then added that Lesnar would respect the order because he was a law-abiding citizen. That did not stop Femi from making his way to the ring.
Femi walked out ready for a fight and immediately questioned what Heyman was doing. Heyman responded by telling him that he violated a court-ordered restraining order.
“You, sir, are in violation of a so ordered by the court restraining order. Gentlemen, do your job.”
That was when things fell apart. Officers moved in and attempted to remove Femi from the premises, with one telling him that he would have to be placed under arrest.
Femi answered by dropping the officer to the floor.
The situation quickly turned into chaos. Femi attacked the officers around him as the Dallas crowd erupted. The broadcast described him as wiping out Dallas PD while continuing to rage at Lesnar and Heyman.
After clearing the area, Femi turned his attention back to Lesnar. He accused The Beast of hiding behind games, cheap shots, and sneak attacks.
“What are these games? What are you playing at? Running, BSing, low blows, attacking from behind. This is not even… It’s not even you anymore. Who is this?”
Femi said Lesnar used to run WWE, but now all he does is run away. He also fired back at Heyman for saying he threw away a title opportunity.
According to Femi, he did not chase that title shot because he believed Lesnar would have cost him anyway. That led him to make the SummerSlam message clear.
“So here’s the deal, SummerSlam, Hell in a Cell, Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar, no more games, no more BS, no more low blows, no more running.”
Femi closed by reminding Lesnar that there will be nowhere to hide once the cell surrounds them. He called himself The Ruler, The Destroyer, and The Bringer of War before the crowd shouted his name with him.
“You can’t run from The Ruler. You can’t run from The Destroyer. You can’t run from the Bringer of War. You can’t run from Oba… Femi.”
Lesnar did not need to say much after that. Femi’s attack and warning did the talking for him.
SummerSlam now has an even darker edge. If Lesnar thought he could keep Oba Femi away with legal paperwork, The Ruler just proved that paper will not stop him from bringing war.
