Seth Rollins stepped away from WWE television to support an important cause.
The WWE star joined former NFL linebacker Manti Te’o for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in a video shared by Good Morning Football.
Te’o opened the video by explaining that they were taking part on behalf of Chris Johnson. He thanked Johnson for his strength and said they hoped the challenge could help bring more attention to the fight against ALS.
Rollins stood alongside Te’o as both men prepared to be soaked with freezing water.
Before taking the challenge, they had to choose the next person to participate. It quickly became clear that Rollins and Te’o had the same name in mind.
The two selected Good Morning Football hosts, Kyle Brandt, officially put him on the clock to keep the challenge going.
Rollins and Te’o then completed the Ice Bucket Challenge together, using the moment to show support for Johnson and families affected by ALS.
