Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga walk out on SmackDown
Summary
– Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga abandoned Solo Sikoa on WWE SmackDown
– The split came after they blamed Solo for recent MFT setbacks
– Solo later tried to ally with LA Knight but was rejected
Solo Sikoa’s power base took a major hit on WWE SmackDown.
During a backstage segment at the O2 Arena, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga confronted Solo over the recent problems surrounding MFT. They blamed him for costing them the tag team titles against Damian Priest and R-Truth.
The tension did not stop there. They also called out Solo for helping LA Knight defeat Jimmy Uso and questioned whether Roman Reigns was still driving his decisions.
Tama said they had heard from the elders and made it clear that they were done. As Tama and Talla walked away, Solo tried to stop them, but the message had already been delivered.
Later in the show, Solo appeared during LA Knight’s segment and tried to pitch a partnership. He suggested they could work together to take down Reigns.
Knight did not buy it. He pointed out that Solo being alone could make it easier for him to drift back toward the Bloodline.
Solo insisted that he hated the Bloodline and regretted ever being part of it. He told Knight that he had nothing left to lose and argued that they shared a common enemy.
Knight still refused the offer. After everything Solo has done and everything tied to the Bloodline, he had no reason to trust him.
The breakup marks a sharp turn for MFT. Tama Tonga first joined Solo on SmackDown in April 2025, while Talla Tonga followed that June.
Tama and Solo later held the WWE Tag Team Titles for 56 days, but the group has now fallen apart. With JC Mateo and Tanga Loa already gone after post-WrestleMania releases, Solo is left standing alone.
For now, Solo has no MFT, no Bloodline, and no alliance with LA Knight. SmackDown may have just pushed him into his most desperate chapter yet.
