Natalya Neidhart may be one of WWE’s most accomplished women, but her success did not come without emotional battles. During a recent appearance on the Jann Arden Podcast, the third-generation star opened up about years of struggling with impostor syndrome and feeling undeserving of her accomplishments.

“I felt like so much of my career I just felt inside I wasn’t good enough,” Natalya admitted. “I even said, ‘Why would anybody want me? Why would anybody want to put the championship on me?’”

She explained that she focused on making others look like stars for much of her career instead of believing she could be one herself. Surrounded by athletes and personalities who seemed larger than life, she often questioned her place in WWE. The turning point came when her husband, TJ Wilson, challenged that mindset. “He said, ‘Why not you? Why can’t you, Nattie? Why don’t you think you’re worthy of it?’”

That simple question shifted how Natalya viewed her career and herself. The lesson became central to her upcoming memoir, The Last Hart Beating, where she encourages readers to stop downplaying their worth. “There’s a part of my life where I didn’t feel like I was good enough… and then there’s another part of me that’s like, ‘I actually deserve to have everything and more. So stop telling yourself that you’re not good enough.’”

Natalya’s message extends beyond wrestling. She hopes fans of all backgrounds take her story as a reminder to believe in themselves. “I don’t care where you work. Whatever sets your soul on fire, ask yourself: Why not me?”

Her journey shows that true strength does not just come from championships or records. It comes from silencing self-doubt and learning to believe you belong.
