Penta and Je’Von Evans are getting their shot at The Vision. Adam Pearce confirmed on the October 26 episode of WWE Raw that the duo will challenge Bron Breakker and Austin Theory for the World Tag Team Championship at Crown Jewel.
The match came together during a backstage conversation after Evans’ match with Sami Zayn. A doctor told Pearce that Evans and Penta were beat up but would be okay, and Evans made it clear that his issues with Breakker and The Vision were far from settled.
Penta agreed, and the two asked Pearce for a championship opportunity against Breakker and Theory. The Raw General Manager proposed Crown Jewel, and both challengers accepted.
“Consider it official,” Pearce told them before advising the pair to make sure they were on the right side of the numbers next time.
The match adds another chapter to a rivalry that has been building throughout October. Penta and Evans previously defeated Breakker and Theory in a non-title match on the October 5 episode of Raw.
Evans also helped Penta beat Breakker on the October 19 show, stopping interference from The Vision. Now the two will face Breakker and Theory again, this time with the World Tag Team Championship on the line.
