Liv Morgan Retains After Judgment Day Attack

Liv Morgan Retains Title Against Becky Lynch

Judgment Day interference ends the Raw main event

Summary

– Becky Lynch challenged Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Title

– The match ended in a disqualification after Judgment Day interference

– Morgan retained the championship despite Lynch winning the match

Liv Morgan is still Women’s World Champion after her title defense against Becky Lynch ended in chaos on the October 26 episode of WWE Raw.

Lynch received the opportunity after Stephanie Vaquer was unable to compete. Vaquer had originally been scheduled to face Becky in a match to determine Morgan’s next challenger, but the change put Lynch directly into a championship match.

Both women came close to finishing the contest. Morgan landed Oblivion, but Lynch kicked out. Becky later connected with the Manhandle Slam, only for Liv to survive the cover.

Lynch then locked Morgan in the Dis-arm-her and pulled her away from the ropes. The Judgment Day appeared at ringside, distracting Becky long enough for Morgan to reach the ropes and escape the hold.

The fight spilled outside, where Raquel Rodriguez accidentally caught Roxanne Perez with a big boot. Lynch followed with a cannonball off the apron onto both women before returning her attention to the champion.

Back in the ring, Becky countered another Oblivion attempt and hit Morgan with the Manhandle Slam. Before Lynch could complete the cover, Judgment Day interference brought the match to a disqualification.

Lynch won the match, but Morgan retained the Women’s World Championship because a title does not normally change hands by disqualification.
