Summary

– She shared a joke with a doctor about The Ultimate Warrior dropping him on his head
– Ric was hospitalized after a fall outside a restaurant in Tampa
Charlotte Flair has shared an encouraging update after her father, Ric Flair, was taken to the hospital following a fall. The WWE star reassured fans that he would be okay while revealing that he still found a way to bring wrestling into the conversation.
Writing on X, Charlotte said Ric had offered his doctor an explanation involving one of his old opponents.
“Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…” she wrote, adding, “(ps: he’s going to be ok).”
The reference to The Ultimate Warrior added some humor to an otherwise worrying situation. Charlotte’s post did not provide a detailed medical update, but it directly addressed concerns about her father’s condition.
Ric reportedly suffered injuries to his head and the area around his eye after falling outside a Tampa restaurant. Emergency responders attended to him before he was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Earlier, Ric had announced that a blood clot in his leg would prevent him from attending Washington State Horror Con in Seattle. He explained that doctors had limited his travel to three or four hours and that he needed to prioritize his recovery.
Ric also said he was scheduled for a procedure involving the affected vein. Charlotte’s message did not address that treatment or announce a hospital discharge.
For now, her update gives fans reassurance from the family, alongside a reminder that Ric’s sense of humor remained part of the conversation with his doctor.
