Rick and Daryl’s signature gear leads the highlights
Summary
– Heritage Auctions will hold The Walking Dead Universe Auction on October 30
– Featured lots include Rick Grimes’ costumes and Daryl Dixon’s hero crossbow
– Walker costumes and Commonwealth set pieces will also be available
Fans of The Walking Dead will have a chance to bid on costumes, props, and set pieces when Heritage Auctions presents The Walking Dead Universe Auction on October 30.
The sale features production items drawn directly from AMC’s archives, including pieces associated with the franchise’s survivors, walkers, and communities.
Among the highlights is Rick Grimes’ 11-piece Signature Costume and Accessory Group. The collection brings together clothing and equipment connected to Andrew Lincoln’s character, whose search for his family began the flagship series.
Daryl Dixon’s 10-piece Signature Ensemble and Hero Crossbow are other featured lots. Played by Norman Reedus, Daryl became closely associated with the weapon throughout his years as a hunter, tracker, and member of the survivor group.
The auction also includes a Walker 26-piece Costume Group from across the franchise. The distressed clothing reflects the deteriorated appearance that helped define the show’s undead threat.
Collectors interested in the series’ final season can bid on the Commonwealth Assortment of 46 Prop and Scene Dressing Items.
That collection includes street signs, banners, community maps, and pamphlets used throughout Season 11. Taken from the permanent set, the pieces represent the organized community that played a central role in the flagship show’s closing storyline.
The October 30 auction brings these character costumes and production artifacts together in a sale aimed at fans and entertainment memorabilia collectors.
