The Walking Dead: Dead City will conclude its third season with Episode 8, titled Tenebrae, on September 13.
AMC’s official synopsis says that Maggie and Negan must work together to confront deadly threats and save their community from immediate danger.
The finale follows Dillard’s violent actions in the previous episode. After Negan killed two of his chained walkers, Dillard turned against Renata and shot her when she refused to support his plan for revenge.
Dillard and the Dead Squad have now taken control of the armory and are holding members of the community hostage. Luis is among those in danger as Dillard attempts to force Negan into surrendering.
The teaser shows Dillard calling out to Maggie while she and Negan search for a way into the armory. Maggie refuses to accept another loss and makes it clear that saving the hostages is her priority.
Negan appears headed for a confrontation with Dillard as time runs out. The outcome could determine the future of the Manhattan community and permanently change the alliance between Maggie and Negan.
Season 3 stars Lauren Cohan as Maggie, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, Logan Kim as Hershel, Gaius Charles as Perlie Armstrong, Jimmi Simpson as Mason Dillard, Aimee Garcia as Renata DeLeon, and Raúl Castillo as Luis DeLeon.
