Preorders open August 19 ahead of the game’s launch

Sony has revealed a new collection of limited-edition PlayStation 5 hardware inspired by Marvel’s Wolverine. The collection includes a specially designed PS5 Digital Edition bundle, two DualSense wireless controllers, and console covers for the slim PS5 and PS5 Pro.
The PS5 Digital Edition Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle will cost $649.99 in the United States. It includes a custom PS5 Digital Edition console, a matching DualSense controller, and a digital copy of Marvel’s Wolverine.
Inspired by Wolverine’s Battle Reborn suit, the console features a bold yellow finish with claw marks cutting through its outer design. The matching DualSense controller continues the theme with slashes inspired by Logan’s adamantium claws and will also be sold separately for $84.99.
Graphic artist Jock collaborated with PlayStation, Insomniac Games, and Marvel Games on the artwork. Jock said the goal was to capture Wolverine at his fiercest while combining modern gaming hardware with the raw energy of traditional hand-drawn ink.
Insomniac Games creative director Marcus Smith praised Jock’s work for capturing the kinetic and violent nature of Wolverine. Smith believes the artist’s grounded and raw illustrations perfectly represent a character whose primary interaction with the world comes through his unbreakable claws.
Players who already own a slim PS5 or PS5 Pro can purchase Battle Yellow console covers separately for $74.99. The PS5 covers will support consoles with or without disc drives.
Sony also unveiled an Adamantium Limited Edition design for the PS5 Pro. Inspired by the metal bonded to Wolverine’s skeleton and claws, the console covers feature a premium metallic finish with dramatic slash marks that expose details underneath.
A matching Adamantium Limited-Edition DualSense controller will also be available for standalone purchase for $84.99. The PS5 Pro Adamantium console covers will cost $74.99.
Preorders for the Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 bundle and accessories will begin August 19 at 10 a.m. local time. In the United States, orders through PlayStation Direct will open at 7 a.m. PT and 10 a.m. ET.
The Battle Yellow console bundle and controller will be available through PlayStation Direct and select retailers. The console covers and Adamantium accessories will have more limited availability through PlayStation Direct in supported regions and select retailers elsewhere.
The entire collection will launch in limited quantities on September 15 alongside Marvel’s Wolverine for PS5.
