Cody Rhodes has no grudge against Travis Scott over the slap that became a major talking point after Elimination Chamber 2025.
During Complex’s Sneaker Shopping, Rhodes addressed their relationship as they discussed Scott’s footwear. He said the incident never created personal tension between them and spoke positively about the rapper returning to WWE.
“There was never, never any heat. We love Travis Scott,” Rhodes said, according to Ringside News.
Rhodes recalled that Brandi had worn a pair of Scott’s sneakers. He joked about temporarily setting the shoes aside after their wrestling storyline but still praised the designs.
The slap occurred during the Toronto segment featuring John Cena and The Rock. Rhodes previously acknowledged a perforated eardrum in his comments about the attack. He has also consistently expressed appreciation for Scott’s involvement in WWE.
Scott later interfered in Rhodes’ WrestleMania 41 match against Cena. Rhodes hit him with a Cross Rhodes, although Cena ultimately won the championship.
His latest comments leave the door open to another appearance from Scott. Rhodes expressed interest in seeing him work with WWE again, but did not announce any return plans.
