Three monthly games arrive for subscribers on October 6

Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026, featuring three titles across PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 become available to members on October 6. Subscribers can claim the games through November 2.
F1 25 is available for PS5 and features content based on the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. Players can compete through Career mode, manage a team through My Team 2.0, or race online against other competitors.
The racing game also features a multiplayer option that allows friends to compete together as a squad against artificial-intelligence drivers. Its addition gives the monthly lineup a recognizable sports release.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is also available for PS5. The extraction shooter sends players into dangerous environments filled with monsters, valuable bounties, and rival hunters.
Players can enter alone or form a team with up to two other people. Every match requires participants to locate bosses, collect the bounty, and escape before competing hunters eliminate them.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is the only selection available on both PS5 and PS4. The action game features voxel versions of familiar soldiers, enemies, and environments from across the Earth Defense Force franchise.
Players build a squad of four rescued characters and select equipment suited to their preferred strategy. The game supports four-player online cooperative play and two-player local split-screen multiplayer.
PlayStation Plus members have until October 5 to claim September’s Monthly Games before the new lineup takes their place. Access to claimed Monthly Games requires an active PlayStation Plus membership.
The October selection provides racing, horror-themed multiplayer, and cooperative action while continuing to include at least one release for PS4 owners.
