WWE reportedly still plans to hold Crown Jewel in 2026 despite ongoing uncertainty surrounding its schedule in Saudi Arabia.
During an August 10 Q&A, WrestleVotes was asked whether fans should still expect Crown Jewel to take place this year.
“Yes,” WrestleVotes responded. “Obviously, that is with eyes on the real world, making sure that area is safe, things like that. It is still on the live event calendar.”
The report indicates that WWE has not canceled the event or removed it from its current schedule.
However, the company is reportedly monitoring the situation in the Middle East before making any final decisions.
WWE officials were previously reported to have discussed the status of the company’s remaining events in Saudi Arabia for 2026 amid tensions in the region.
Those conversations reportedly also included WrestleMania 43, which is planned for Riyadh in 2027.
Crown Jewel was held in Perth, Australia, in 2025 after traditionally taking place in Saudi Arabia.
WWE has not announced a date, location, or venue for the 2026 edition.
The company already held the Royal Rumble in Riyadh on January 31, marking its first major event in Saudi Arabia of the year.
WrestleMania 43 is expected to strengthen WWE’s relationship with the country by becoming the first WrestleMania held outside North America.
For now, Crown Jewel remains on WWE’s calendar, but its final status will depend on safety conditions in the region.
