WWE Raw will air live from Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 7, 2026, with a Women’s World Championship match leading the announced lineup.
Liv Morgan will defend the title against former champion Stephanie Vaquer. The match gives Vaquer another opportunity to reclaim the championship she lost at WrestleMania 42.
Morgan defeated Vaquer to win the title after receiving assistance from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Vaquer returned to action in August and quickly made it clear that she wanted her rematch.
The two women have continued to build their rivalry in recent weeks. Morgan promised during Sunday Night’s Main Event Countdown that she would defeat Vaquer again and prove that she is the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time.
Vaquer enters the match with a chance to silence Morgan and regain the championship. The possible involvement of The Judgment Day could once again become an important factor in the result.
The road to Money in the Bank will also begin during Raw. WWE has announced that qualifying matches for the men’s and women’s ladder matches will take place.
The participants in the opening qualifiers had not been revealed when the show was announced. Each winner will move one step closer to earning a championship opportunity through the Money in the Bank contract.
Raw will also deal with the fallout from Sunday Night’s Main Event. Bronson Reed returned during Bron Breakker’s match against Oba Femi and helped The Vision deliver a brutal post-match attack.
Reed later declared that The Vision was whole again after reuniting with Breakker, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and Maxxine Dupri. Femi could be looking for revenge following the attack.
WWE Raw begins at 8 PM ET and will stream live on Netflix.
