Sol Ruca picked up an important singles victory over Lyra Valkyria after a competitive match on WWE Raw.
The match opened with both women locking up before Valkyria gained control with a side headlock. Ruca quickly reversed the hold and followed with a standing dropkick that sent Valkyria to the outside.
Ruca kept the pressure on with a knee strike and a moonsault off the second rope before the action returned to the ring.
Valkyria shifted the momentum after kicking the ropes and causing Ruca to land awkwardly on the back of her neck.
She then targeted the same area with a scissors kick to the back of Ruca’s neck for a near fall.
Ruca eventually fought back with a neckbreaker before Valkyria drove her into the mat and headed to the top rope.
Ruca countered Valkyria’s aerial attack with a knee before hitting a German Suplex and a missile dropkick.
She followed with another knee for a near fall and later connected with another German Suplex.
Valkyria answered with another neckbreaker and scissors kick to the back of Ruca’s neck, but still could not finish the match.
Ruca then created an opening with a superkick before hitting a DDT.
She followed with the Sol Snatcher and scored the three count to secure the victory.
