Rodriguez grew up in the Rio Grande Valley watching Lucha Libre with her father and traveling to wrestling events across Texas. She said she rarely saw women, especially Hispanic women, represented on those shows.
Now competing as one of WWE’s most prominent Hispanic stars, Rodriguez said she wants women to pursue their dreams even when those goals challenge traditional expectations.
Rodriguez currently holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and is a six-time women’s tag team champion. She said winning the title represented years of sacrifice and proved that hard work can pay off.
She also praised WWE’s partnership with AAA and the increased visibility for Hispanic talent across Raw, SmackDown, and Lucha Libre. Rodriguez attended TripleMania and described the atmosphere as electric.
When asked about Lola Vice, Rodriguez dismissed the idea that Vice automatically became the next challenger after defeating her in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. She said the champion remains the target and told Vice to wait for her turn.
Rodriguez also discussed the health problems that once left her unsure whether she would wrestle again. She said the uncertainty affected her mentally and emotionally because there was no clear timeline for recovery.
Kevin Nash’s criticism that she needed to “wrestle big” became an important turning point. Rodriguez said she viewed his comments as constructive criticism and used them to rebuild her confidence.
She also described Judgment Day as family, saying the group remains strong because its members believe they will always support one another.
