Modern Warfare III leads the new monthly lineup
Summary
– PlayStation Plus members get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II, and CrossCode in July
– The monthly games will be available from July 7 through August 3
– The lineup includes a major shooter, a co-op fantasy RPG, and a retro-style action RPG
Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for July, giving subscribers three very different titles to claim.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III headlines the month with its Cross-Gen Bundle for PS5 and PS4. The game includes a campaign that continues the Modern Warfare story, updated versions of classic multiplayer maps, and a large-scale Zombies mode built around open-world PvE action.
For the King II brings a different pace to the lineup. The fantasy RPG lets players adventure alone or team up in four-player co-op as they fight against Queen Rosomon and her oppressive rule over Fahrul.
The sequel builds on the first For the King with a mix of roguelite elements and tabletop-inspired strategy. It is aimed at both returning players and newcomers looking for a tactical co-op adventure.
CrossCode rounds out July’s selection with retro-inspired 2D action-RPG gameplay. The game blends fast combat, puzzle-heavy dungeons, equipment upgrades, and a sci-fi story wrapped in a 16-bit visual style.
All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, July 7, until Monday, August 3. Sony also noted that the monthly lineup may vary by region, so players should check the PlayStation Store on release day.
