The Walking Dead is returning to consoles and PC with a new action game built around fighting large groups of walkers and hostile survivors.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival will launch on September 18, 2026, through Trailmark Games. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Streets of Survival is a brawler that lets players fight solo or with friends. Its retro-inspired visual style gives the game a distinct appearance compared to previous titles based on The Walking Dead.
Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne will be available as playable survivors. Each character will fight through ruined settlements, tunnels, and enemy strongholds filled with walkers and dangerous human opponents.
The game features various attacks, weapons, and combinations tailored to each survivor’s abilities. Michonne can use her katana, while Daryl enters battle with his signature crossbow.
Players will encounter several familiar enemies from the franchise, including the Saviors and their leader, Negan. Memorable walkers such as the Well Walker will also appear as bosses.
The campaign presents a new version of the All Out War storyline from Season 8 of the television series. Players will travel through familiar communities, including Alexandria, the Kingdom, and Hilltop.
The game combines characters, locations, and conflicts from different parts of The Walking Dead universe. Its cooperative gameplay will allow teams to battle waves of increasingly difficult enemies.
Streets of Survival will cost $19.99 for the standard edition. A $29.99 deluxe edition will include additional character modes, cosmetic skins, and other bonus content.
