Negan is officially joining The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival as a playable character when the throwback beat-’em-up launches September 18.
TRAILMARK Games and developer Odaclick Game Studio revealed the addition during the Future Games Show at Gamescom, confirming that the ruthless Savior leader will fight alongside the rest of the playable roster.
Negan comes equipped with Lucille, his signature barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat, giving players another familiar weapon to use during the game’s single-player campaign.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival draws inspiration from the All-Out War storyline from AMC’s The Walking Dead. The story places Rick Grimes and his allies against the Saviors while also forcing them to survive relentless waves of walkers.
Players will be able to control several recognizable characters from the series, including Rick, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Negan.
The campaign will take players through locations such as the Sanctuary, Hilltop, and Alexandria while fighting both human enemies and the undead.
Each character features their own moveset built around combos, signature weapon attacks, and finishers. Multiple difficulty settings are also included, giving players additional challenges and encouraging repeat playthroughs.
Pre-orders are now available for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions. Anyone who pre-orders either version will receive the Golden Survival Pack at launch, which includes seven golden weapon skins.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival launches September 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.
