The July 11, 2026, edition of AAA on FOX featured a fast-paced three-way contender’s match between Mini Vikingo, Dragon Lee, and Jack Cartwheel. All three men pushed the pace, but Vikingo found the final opening when it mattered most.
Cartwheel made the first major statement by taking out both opponents with a Tiger Drop. Dragon Lee quickly answered with a superkick before trapping Cartwheel in the Tree of Woe.
That gave Vikingo room to strike. He connected with a Spanish Fly and followed with a Meteora in the corner to keep the pressure moving.
Lee then took control with a top-rope double stomp before trading hard shots with Cartwheel. The action soon moved to the floor, where Vikingo launched himself onto Cartwheel.
Dragon Lee responded by dropping Vikingo across the announce table. Back inside the ring, Cartwheel nearly stole the win after hitting Lee with a Spanish Fly, but his shooting star press missed.
Lee fired back with a German suplex, a superkick, and a Liger Bomb. Cartwheel still managed to survive the pinfall attempt.
The closing sequence came after Lee planted Cartwheel with the Styles Clash. Before Lee could finish the match, Vikingo flew from the top rope and hit Cartwheel with a 630 splash.
Vikingo covered Cartwheel for the three-count before Lee could break it up. That win officially made him the number one contender for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
Mini Vikingo had to survive two dangerous opponents to earn his shot. Now, after the biggest win of the night, the AAA Cruiserweight Title picture has a new challenger.
