Mercedes Moné and Divine Dominion defeated Willow Nightingale, Maya World, and Hyan during AEW Dynamite.
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross used their size and power to control the match for long stretches. Their double-team offense repeatedly stopped the opposing team from building momentum.
Bayne nearly finished Hyan with a Falcon Arrow, but Willow reached the pin in time to break it up.
Kross then stopped Willow with a high kick before Divine Dominion combined to take Maya out of the action.
Willow fought back and sent Kross crashing to the floor, but Bayne responded with a short-arm lariat.
Moné waited for the right moment before attacking Willow at ringside. Hyan remained the legal competitor and took advantage by catching Moné with a jackknife cover.
Moné escaped before Hyan connected with a spear that nearly produced a major upset. The CEO barely lifted her shoulder before the referee completed the count.
With the other competitors down outside the ring, Moné and Hyan were left to finish the match alone.
Hyan continued to pressure the AEW star, but Moné recovered and hit the Moné Maker to secure the three-count.
The victory gave Moné and Divine Dominion another strong showing, although Hyan proved she could compete with one of AEW’s biggest stars.
