Gable called Otis, Maxxine, and Akira Tozawa to the ring so he could apologize for his past actions. He looked emotional as he addressed each former ally, admitting he had treated them poorly.
Gable started with Maxxine and praised her growth. He pointed out that she had won a singles championship, something he had never done, and admitted his treatment of her was embarrassing.
He then spoke to Tozawa and called him the definition of fighting spirit. Gable admitted he tried to hold him back and said Tozawa never deserved that kind of treatment.
The most emotional part came when Gable turned to Otis. He called him one of the most loyal friends he ever had and brought up their long history together, including their tag team title run and personal moments outside the ring.
Gable said he threw away that friendship because he became obsessed with winning the Intercontinental Championship. He apologized and offered his hand to Otis.
Otis looked torn and seemed close to accepting the apology. Maxxine stepped in before he could shake Gable’s hand.
Maxxine called Gable a liar and said the apology was really about him, not Alpha Academy. She reminded everyone that she once had to beg Gable not to hurt Otis and Tozawa.
Alpha Academy walked away together, leaving Gable alone in the ring. Otis still looked conflicted, but he left with Maxxine and Tozawa instead of giving Gable the forgiveness he wanted.
