King responds to the criticism surrounding Avery Styles

Lexis King has responded to the ongoing controversy involving Avery Styles and a recent GCW event.
King posted a photo from the WWE Performance Center featuring Styles alongside several other second-generation wrestlers.
Aalyah Mysterio, Marie Malenko, Uriah Connors, and Brooks Jensen also appeared in the photo.
King is the son of Brian Pillman, while Aalyah is the daughter of Rey Mysterio.
Malenko is the daughter of Dean Malenko; Connors is the son of Fit Finlay; Styles is the son of AJ Styles; and Jensen is the son of Bull Buchanan.
“We already set up the f’n chairs,” King wrote alongside the photo.
The message referenced recent criticism from Arik Cannon, who claimed that Avery did not help set up chairs at a GCW event.
AJ Styles defended his 19-year-old son following Cannon’s remarks.
Cody Rhodes later supported Avery by explaining that children from wrestling families often make sacrifices while their parents build their careers.
Rhodes argued that AJ’s sacrifices throughout Avery’s childhood meant the family had already paid its dues.
“To simplify, he already set up the fn’ chairs,” Rhodes wrote.
King continued that message by gathering Avery and other wrestling legacy prospects for the Performance Center photo.
Avery has not publicly responded to the original criticism.
