LA Knight delivered a defiant message to Roman Reigns during the September 28 episode of WWE Raw.
Knight opened by reflecting on his WWE journey. He said he arrived four years ago, determined to take over the business and quickly became one of the company’s fastest-rising stars, despite not being backed by officials or included in their original plans.
He then looked back at his previous match against Reigns. Knight recalled hitting Reigns with the BFT and nearly scoring the victory before Jimmy Uso placed Reigns’ foot on the ropes to stop the referee’s count.
Knight said it took him three years to reach another championship opportunity after being held back by politics, numbers, and people connected to Reigns. Despite those obstacles, he remains determined to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The Megastar also addressed Reigns’ decision to move forward without his family. Knight said he respected Reigns for trying to stand on his own, but warned that he would knock him into the dirt during their upcoming showdown.
Knight emphasized that “YEAH!” is more than a catchphrase. He called it a battle cry and described himself as bulletproof and the last of a dying breed.
Although Knight admitted that Money in the Bank could be his final opportunity, he made it clear that he has no intention of wasting it. He said he never needed anyone else’s help to succeed and described himself as the most self-made man in WWE.
Knight closed with a direct promise to Reigns. The same way he became known as The Megastar, he vowed to become the man Reigns calls the World Heavyweight Champion.
