One fake ending showed Negan attacking every character in the lineup with Lucille. That version was reportedly distributed to dubbing teams to prevent anyone involved in the localization process from identifying the actual victims.
Morgan knew that Negan killed Glenn in Robert Kirkman’s comic book series, but he could not be certain the television adaptation would follow the same story. The Season 6 finale only showed Negan swinging his bat from the victim’s perspective before the screen went black.
