Switchblade rejoins The Gunns for the Tailgate Brawl after an injury absence.
Summary
– Jay White returned to action during the WrestleDream Tailgate Brawl
– He teamed with The Gunns and The Conglomeration against the Death Riders and The Dogs
– The Death Riders and The Dogs won the match
Jay White is back in an AEW ring sooner than expected, returning during the WrestleDream Tailgate Brawl following his recent injury.
White joined Austin and Colten Gunn, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly for the six-on-six match. Across the ring were Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Gabe Kidd and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders, alongside David Finlay and Clark Connors of The Dogs.
The appearance ended a shorter absence than initially anticipated. White had been injured while competing in the Tailgate Brawl at All Out and was expected to miss one to two months.
AEW’s television account confirmed that he had been cleared to compete as he made his return. The match reunited him with The Gunns and put him straight back into action against familiar opposition.
His comeback did not produce a victory, however. The Death Riders and The Dogs defeated White’s team in the bout ahead of the main WrestleDream card.
