Halloween: The Game is getting a physical release when it arrives later this year.

IllFonic’s upcoming asymmetrical stealth horror game will launch physically for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on October 6, 2026. The release will be handled through Nighthawk Interactive, with pre-orders beginning today.

The Standard Edition will cost $39.99 and includes the game, an exclusive poster, early access to the Michael Myers Clown skin, and two civilian cosmetics.

The Limited Collector’s Edition will cost $149.99 and comes with the game, a Trick or Treat Studios Shape Jump variant action figure, lenticular artwork, an exclusive poster, early access to Michael Myers Samhain and Clown skins, four civilian cosmetics, and more collectibles that will be revealed later.

The game lets players revisit the world of John Carpenter’s 1978 Halloween. Fans can play as civilians trying to protect Haddonfield in 1v4 multiplayer or take control of Michael Myers in both multiplayer and a single-player story mode.

IllFonic also revealed Orange Grove Estates, a new multiplayer map inspired by the original movie. The map features upscale Haddonfield homes, large yards, playgrounds, basketball courts, and plenty of space for hiding, chasing, and surviving.

Compass International Pictures president Malek Akkad said fans will get to explore the Wallace and Doyle houses while creating their own survival tactics against the Boogeyman.

IllFonic chief creative officer Jared Gerritzen said Orange Grove Estates is the game’s most ambitious map so far. He explained that the open layout and multi-story homes will force players to think carefully about sightlines, teamwork, and escape routes.

Halloween: The Game launches October 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with two physical editions available at launch.
