Kim Dickens is moving from The Walking Dead universe into Prime Video’s Scarpetta.
Dickens, best known to TWD fans as Madison Clark on Fear the Walking Dead, has joined the second season of the crime drama in a recurring role. Her character has not yet been revealed.
Scarpetta is based on Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta novels. The series follows Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a skilled medical examiner who uses forensic science to help solve complex murder cases.
Nicole Kidman leads the series as Kay Scarpetta, with Jamie Lee Curtis also part of the returning cast. Season 2 is currently in production in Nashville.
Dickens is part of a larger group of new recurring cast members for the upcoming season. David Arquette, Jodi Balfour, William Zabka, Stella Baker, Troy Garity, Jerod Haynes, Michael “Killer Mike” Render, and Holland Taylor have also joined the lineup.
The returning cast also includes Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, Rosy McEwen, Amanda Righetti, Jake Cannavale, and Hunter Parrish.
