– Nathan Frazer and Axiom survived a hard-hitting match against Cutler James and Osiris Griffin
– Axiom delivered a risky Spanish Fly from the top rope during the closing sequence
Fraxiom is moving forward in the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic after defeating DarkState on WWE NXT.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom immediately used their speed and teamwork to put Cutler James and Osiris Griffin under pressure. Frazer moved quickly around the ring, landing kicks, chops, springboard attacks, and a diving splash to keep DarkState off balance.
DarkState eventually slowed the match down by using their size and power. Osiris caught Frazer during one exchange and turned him inside out before the team followed up with a backbreaker and neckbreaker.
Axiom was also forced to absorb heavy punishment, but he managed to survive a dangerous sequence and kicked out before DarkState could secure the victory.
Fraxiom continued searching for openings as both teams exchanged counters. Frazer and Cutler battled for control while Axiom waited for the right moment to reenter the action.
The closing stretch saw Axiom take a major risk. Although he was not the legal competitor, Axiom climbed to the top rope and delivered a Spanish Fly that wiped out Osiris.
Frazer then attempted to finish the match with a Phoenix Splash, but Osiris moved out of the way. DarkState appeared ready to capitalize, but Fraxiom kept fighting and prevented the match from slipping away.
The combination of Frazer’s speed and Axiom’s timing eventually created the opening they needed. Fraxiom finished the sequence and scored the three-count to eliminate DarkState from the tournament.
The victory sends Fraxiom into the next round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. DarkState showed plenty of power throughout the match, but Frazer and Axiom’s experience and chemistry allowed them to survive.
Fraxiom now has momentum on its side as the tournament continues. The former NXT Tag Team Champions are one step closer to winning the Dusty Cup.
