Netflix stunt ties Little Brother promo back to recent WWE Raw attack
Summary
– Eric André refused to wear a Bloodline shirt after being stripped to his underwear at the Little Brother premiere
– Netflix Is A Joke shared footage of André’s suit getting yanked off after it got caught in a car door
– The joke connected back to Jacob Fatu attacking André on WWE Raw days earlier
Eric André turned a movie premiere into another wild promotional moment for Little Brother.
Netflix posted footage from the premiere showing André stepping out of a car in a full suit. The moment quickly fell apart when the car door appeared to catch his clothing before the vehicle pulled away.
André’s suit was yanked off in front of the crowd, leaving him standing outside the event in his underwear, socks, and shoes.
Netflix Is A Joke shared the clip with a short caption.
“Eric André’s suit got stuck at the Little Brother premiere 👀”
Someone then tried to help André by handing him a shirt. That did not go well once he realized it was a Bloodline shirt featuring Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu.
André put the shirt on, looked down, and immediately took it off. The reaction made sense because Jacob Fatu had just attacked him on WWE Raw days earlier.
During the June 15 episode of Raw, Fatu dragged André from the crowd, brought him into the ring, and hit him with two diving headbutts while Roman Reigns watched.
The premiere stunt kept the WWE crossover alive while promoting Little Brother, the new Netflix comedy starring André and John Cena. The film is set to arrive on June 26.
The clip ended with André posing next to Cena outside the premiere while still in his underwear. Cena looked ready for the red carpet, while André looked like he had survived another public disaster.
The entire moment was strange, silly, and exactly the kind of chaos tied to André’s style. It also gave WWE, Netflix, and Little Brother another viral moment after Fatu’s Raw attack.
