A new report suggests Amore may have signed with WWE in the past week
Summary
– Enzo Amore may have signed a new WWE deal within the past week
– NXT has been mentioned as a possible destination for his return
– WWE has not confirmed his status, and the report is still being verified
Enzo Amore could be heading back to WWE, with a new report suggesting some people in the company believe he has signed a contract.
PWInsider reported that Amore may have agreed to a deal within the past week. His status has not been confirmed, though one source indicated NXT could be his destination if the return moves forward.
Speculation about Amore’s WWE future has been circulating for months. Earlier this year, reports said he had been in contact with the company about a possible comeback. He was also reportedly seen at the WWE Performance Center in May.
The rumors gained added interest after his former tag team partner, Big Cass, returned to WWE earlier this year. A reunion appeared possible, given the popularity of Enzo and Cass during their original run, but Cass returned without Amore.
Cass has since taken a different path on Monday Night RAW, teaming with Ethan Page. The pair defeated Chad Gable and Dragon Lee on the October 26 episode.
If Amore does return, a run in NXT could give him a chance to reestablish himself before any potential connection with Cass. WWE has not announced a deal, and PWInsider said it is still working to confirm whether one was signed.
