WWE NXT has a new opening theme. Shawn Michaels announced that Drake’s Shabang will introduce the Tuesday night show, replacing Millions From Now by Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.
Michaels shared the news on social media ahead of the October 6 broadcast, pairing the announcement with praise for NXT’s roster.
“Nobody does it quite like this crew. New music. Same show-stealing Superstars,” Michaels wrote. “‘Shabang’ by @Drake is the new opening theme for #WWENXT. Turn it up!!”
The track comes from Drake’s ICEMAN album and gives NXT a fresh musical introduction to its weekly programming.
Drake’s connection to WWE extends beyond the theme song. He attended Elimination Chamber in 2025, where John Cena turned heel and aligned himself with The Rock and Travis Scott.
His music now becomes part of NXT’s presentation, with Michaels confirming Shabang as the brand’s opening track.
