Summary

– Darby Allin will run the New York City Marathon on November 1

– The AEW star said this will be his first-ever marathon

– Allin is running in support of KultureCity and its sensory accessibility mission

Darby Allin is adding another major challenge to his list.

Allin told Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown that he will run the New York City Marathon on November 1. It will be the first marathon of his life.

The AEW star admitted he does not even have running shoes yet. He said part of him wants to go into the event without overthinking it and push himself through the experience.

Allin also said he may not fully train for the race. That approach fits his reputation for taking on extreme challenges and testing his limits outside the ring.

The marathon run will support KultureCity, a nonprofit organization focused on sensory accessibility and inclusion for people with invisible disabilities. Allin will be part of a group of 50 runners representing the cause.

This comes after Allin climbed Mount Everest in 2025. Between wrestling, mountain climbing, and now marathon running, Allin continues to build a reputation as one of AEW’s most fearless personalities.
