Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will face one of their toughest challenges yet when they defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship in a three-way TLC match at All Out.
Copeland announced the match during the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, confirming that FTR and The Young Bucks will both receive championship opportunities.
The stipulation means tables, ladders, and chairs will be legal as three of AEW’s most accomplished teams battle for the titles.
Copeland and Christian recently retained the championship against Matt and Nick Jackson at All In London.
The Young Bucks came close to taking the titles before Christian used a hidden wrench inside his brace. Copeland followed with a spear before Christian scored the deciding pinfall.
The champions had little time to celebrate at Wembley Stadium because FTR returned alongside Stokely Hathaway immediately after the match.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have their own history with Copeland and Christian after facing them in an I Quit Street Fight at Double or Nothing 2026.
That match featured FTR entering as AEW World Tag Team Champions, adding another layer to their pursuit of the titles now held by Copeland and Christian.
All Out will bring all three teams together under a stipulation closely associated with Copeland and Christian’s legendary tag team career.
The TLC format also poses additional danger to the champions, as they will not need to be pinned or submitted to lose their titles.
FTR and The Young Bucks only need to capitalize at the right moment and reach the championships before either Copeland or Christian can stop them.
AEW All Out takes place Saturday, September 26, at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with the event scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM CT.
Copeland and Christian escaped All In with the championships, but defending against FTR and The Young Bucks simultaneously in a TLC match gives them little room for error.
