The Servant is a reimagining of the 1963 film directed by Joseph Losey and written by Harold Pinter. Francis Lee will write and direct the new version, with Blueprint Pictures and Film4 involved in the project.

The story is set in 1950s New York and centers on Tony, played by Hoult, a privileged British man who moves into an apartment overlooking Central Park. His life begins to unravel after he becomes locked in a psychological power struggle with his manservant Barrett, played by Domingo.
