The post was later deleted, but the message was clear. Punk did not share details about who followed him, how close they got, or whether anything happened at the hotel.
Even without extra information, the warning pointed to a serious boundary. Punk was fine with fans showing love at the arena, but tracking him to where he was staying crossed the line.
The situation also stands out because Punk has dealt with fan encounters outside official WWE settings before. Earlier this year, hotel-related incidents involving Punk received attention after WrestleMania 42.
That included a reported 9-1-1 call connected to one confrontation at the MGM Grand. Another widely circulated clip showed Punk knocking a fan’s phone away near Bayley and AJ Lee.
It is not clear whether Punk deleted the Las Cruces post because the issue was resolved or because he no longer wanted the message public. Either way, the warning had already reached fans.
Punk’s point was simple. Cheer at the show, enjoy the live event, and meet talent in the proper setting, but do not follow wrestlers back to their hotels.
