Both stars confronted Liv Morgan after SummerSlam
Summary
– Becky Lynch returned to WWE television after roughly two months away
– Stephanie Vaquer made her first appearance since suffering a shoulder injury in April
– Both returning stars confronted Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan
Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer made their returns during the August 3 episode of WWE Raw at Casey’s Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan opened the segment by celebrating her successful title defense against IYO SKY at SummerSlam.
Morgan claimed that she had defeated every available challenger and had no one left to face.
Sol Ruca and Roxanne Perez then competed in a match that ended in a disqualification after Morgan interfered.
Judgment Day continued attacking Ruca after the bell before Morgan posed with her championship. Becky Lynch’s entrance music suddenly played, marking The Man’s first WWE television appearance in roughly two months.
Lynch made it clear that she had not returned to pursue the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, claiming she had already made that title famous.
Instead, Lynch turned her attention to Morgan and vowed to prevent her from going another 100 days without defending the Women’s World Championship.
She called Morgan a “glorified valet” and argued that a woman’s champion should be fighting instead of flirting.
Morgan responded by telling Lynch that she should be home being a mother to her daughter. She also accused Lynch of confronting her out of jealousy.
As Morgan attempted to leave, Lynch said she was not even the greatest women’s champion in Judgment Day—or the greatest one to have slept with Dominik Mysterio.
The confrontation took another turn when Stephanie Vaquer’s music played.
Vaquer attacked Raquel Rodriguez before chasing Morgan into the ring and taking down the Women’s World Champion.
Morgan eventually escaped, leaving Lynch and Vaquer standing inside the ring. The two returning stars stared each other down as both appeared determined to challenge Morgan first.
Lynch had been absent from WWE television since early June 2026.
Vaquer had not appeared since a storyline attack on the April 27 episode of Raw. She was legitimately sidelined with a second-degree AC joint sprain in her shoulder and also took time away to recover physically and mentally.
Their returns immediately created two new threats to Morgan’s championship reign and set up a potential battle between Lynch and Vaquer over the next title opportunity.
