According to PWInsider, creative ideas involving Bayley have been discussed for the Raw brand, with her return expected in the next few weeks.
Bayley has not appeared on WWE television since losing to Lyra Valkyria on the July 18 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
After the match, Valkyria attacked Bayley, giving WWE a storyline explanation for taking the former women’s champion off television.
Bayley did wrestle at a live event in Bakersfield, California, on July 26, but she has remained absent from WWE programming since then.
There had already been signs that WWE still had plans for her.
Dave Meltzer noted in the August 24 Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bayley’s name had been mentioned multiple times on Raw, which he viewed as an indication that the company expected her to return.
The latest report now adds more weight to that possibility, with actual creative pitches reportedly being discussed.
Bayley remains one of the most accomplished women on the WWE roster.
