Trick Williams is scheduled to defend the championship against Corbin, Carmelo Hayes, and Ricky Saints at Dignity Health Arena.
The match places Corbin directly into one of SmackDown’s biggest championship stories only days after his return.
Corbin resurfaced during the July 10 episode of SmackDown while Williams defended the United States Championship against Hayes.
He pulled Hayes from the apron before hitting both Hayes and Williams with End of Days.
The attack immediately raised questions about Corbin’s intentions and whether he would pursue the championship.
WWE is also continuing the Nomad nickname Corbin used while competing outside the company.
Corbin spent more than a year away from WWE following his November 2024 departure before returning with an updated presentation.
