Bad Bunny may be connected to another major wrestling move, this time through AAA.
During Saturday’s AAA on Fox broadcast, JBL asked AAA general manager Rey Mysterio whether Bad Bunny could be brought into the promotion now that Damian Priest had arrived. Mysterio said they were working on that as well.
That brief answer was enough to create buzz, but Bryan Alvarez later confirmed there is something to Mysterio’s tease. Nothing has been officially announced, but the idea of Bad Bunny appearing in AAA now appears to have real weight behind it.
Bad Bunny has already built a strong wrestling résumé through WWE. He teamed with Damian Priest at WrestleMania 37, where they defeated The Miz and John Morrison.
He later faced Priest at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, delivering a match that received major praise from fans and critics. Dave Meltzer rated that bout 4.5 stars.
There have also been previous reports about Bad Bunny discussing a possible WWE match with Logan Paul. Paul later addressed the idea on Impaulsive, saying he believes it could be the greatest WWE match of all time.
Priest’s arrival in AAA makes the Bad Bunny tease even more interesting because of their shared WWE history. A reunion or crossover involving both names would bring major attention to the promotion.
For now, Bad Bunny to AAA remains a developing possibility. Mysterio’s comment and Alvarez’s follow-up suggest the door is at least open.
