AEW Dynamite saw a noticeable decline in television viewership for its August 19 episode on TBS, according to figures reported by Dave Meltzer.
The episode averaged 587,000 viewers and scored a 0.10 rating among adults 18-49. That was down from the August 12 episode, which drew 658,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating in the same demographic.

The year-over-year comparison produced mixed results. Dynamite drew 565,000 viewers and a 0.16 demo rating during the comparable week in 2025, meaning total viewership increased by approximately 3.9 percent this year while the key demographic rating declined by 37.5 percent.
The August 19 audience also finished below AEW Dynamite’s reported 2026 average of 643,742 viewers. The current episode was approximately 56,742 viewers below that mark, while its 0.10 demo rating also came in below the reported year-to-date average of 0.11.
August has shown a downward trend across the most recent episodes. Dynamite drew 694,000 viewers on August 5, then fell to 658,000 on August 12 and 587,000 on August 19. The four-week average, which also includes the July 29 episode, stands at 653,750 viewers.
Despite the weekly decline, the August 19 episode still finished slightly ahead of the comparable 2025 episode in total viewers. The larger concern remains the 18-49 demographic, which experienced a much sharper year-over-year decline.
