Adam Pearce Addresses WWE In-Ring Return

The Raw General Manager has little interest in wrestling again

Summary

– Adam Pearce says he has almost no interest in wrestling again

– The Raw General Manager joked about returning to tights at age 48

– Pearce still refused to completely rule out another WWE match

Adam Pearce has addressed the possibility of stepping back into a WWE ring, and the Monday Night Raw General Manager does not sound eager to wrestle again anytime soon.

Speaking with Love Wrestling, Pearce was asked about a possible comeback after the conversation shifted to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis returning to competition. Pearce responded that he has less than zero interest in putting his wrestling boots back on.

Pearce, now 48, also joked that fans do not need to see him wearing wrestling tights again. He used humor to make his current position clear, saying that returning to spandex is far from something he is actively considering.

Despite strongly dismissing the idea, Pearce stopped short of completely closing the door. He said the answer is currently no, but added that he would never say never if the right circumstances eventually developed.

Pearce has competed for WWE before, including two matches in 2021. His role since then has primarily focused on serving as an authority figure, with Pearce becoming closely associated with overseeing Monday Night Raw.

For now, another match is not part of Pearce’s plans. Still, his refusal to rule it out entirely leaves a possibility that WWE could eventually find a situation convincing enough to bring him back into the ring.
