Paul Wight Shows Off Major Body Transformation

AEW star shares progress after 11 surgeries and possible in-ring return goal

Summary

– Paul Wight showed off a major body transformation after 11 surgeries

– The AEW star posted a gym photo and said he is starting to see real results

– Wight said his goal is to compete for fun, not chase titles or a perfect farewell

Paul Wight is making it clear that his possible in-ring return is more than talk.

The former Big Show recently shared a gym photo on Instagram that showed a much leaner and stronger look. Wight flexed in the picture and said he is starting to see real progress after years of physical setbacks.

“Starting to see real results. Today is better than yesterday. I’m on my way to being a super model! Jokes aside grateful to be able to push myself this hard after 11 surgeries. 💪😎#gym#cardio#diet#beastly”

The mention of 11 surgeries made the post stand out. Wight has put his body through a lot during his long wrestling career, and his current training shows how serious he is about getting himself back into better shape.

His transformation also connects to what he recently told Chris Van Vliet. Wight said he is not chasing championships or trying to carry a company at this stage of his career. He knows that part of his run is behind him.

Instead, Wight said his focus is on having fun in the ring, helping younger talent, and enjoying the time he still has left with AEW.

“I know there is a big current thing where everybody wants to write their story, which I am so sick of hearing. Not everybody gets a story. I may not get a story. I may not get a retirement match. I am very real about this. I have to do certain things and hold myself accountable to get to a position so that I can compete for fun, for no other reason other than I want to have fun in the ring.”

Wight may not be looking for a perfect retirement match, but he is clearly not finished pushing himself. After 11 surgeries, his latest update shows a veteran who still wants to control the final stage of his wrestling career on his own terms.
