Roman Reigns closed WWE Clash in Italy by defeating Jacob Fatu in a violent Tribal Combat match.

The World Heavyweight Championship was on the line inside Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. Reigns entered the match looking to keep his title, while Fatu wanted to take the championship and challenge Reigns’ control of the family power structure.

The match quickly left the ring. Reigns and Fatu fought through the crowd before returning to ringside, where the fight became even more dangerous.

Fans called for tables, and Reigns eventually brought one into the match. He also used the ring steps brutally, throwing them from the ring toward Fatu at ringside.

Fatu answered with offense inspired by Umaga, showing the power and aggression that made him such a threat. Reigns cut him off with a Superman Punch, but it was not enough to end the match.

Reigns then brought out a toolbox and smashed Fatu’s hand. He made it clear that he was trying to take away the Tongan Death Grip and limit one of Fatu’s most dangerous weapons.

The fight spilled back outside, where Fatu charged toward Reigns near the barricade. Reigns stopped him with a Superman Punch before spearing him through another barricade and taking out security in the process.

Back inside the ring, Reigns hit another spear for a near fall. He then removed several turnbuckle pads, creating even more danger in the corners.

Fatu refused to stay down. He powered up through Superman Punches and hit a spear of his own for a close two-count. Reigns later survived another near fall before using a low blow to shift the match back in his favor.

The finish came when Reigns speared Fatu through a table set up in the corner. He followed with one more spear to score the pinfall and retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

The victory kept Reigns perfect in Tribal Combat matches and gave him another major statement win. Fatu pushed him hard, but Reigns left Italy still champion and still in control.
