Summary

– Sol Ruca defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Italy

– The title match followed weeks of tension after their controversial Saturday Night’s Main Event finish

– Ruca survived the Manhandle Slam and hit the Sol Snatcher to capture the championship

Sol Ruca scored the biggest win of her WWE career at Clash in Italy by defeating Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

The match took place at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, and carried weeks of tension into the ring. Lynch and Ruca had been at odds since Ruca’s Raw contract signing, where Lynch interrupted the moment and ended up getting dropped by a Sol Snatcher.

Their issues grew after Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Lynch avoided a clean finish by pushing referee Jessika Carr into Ruca’s path. That led to Lynch being disqualified and forced to defend the title in Italy.

Jessika Carr was again the referee for the championship match, adding another layer to the story. Lynch was already upset before the bell when Carr took the title from her and raised it above her head.

Lynch tried to get off to a fast start, but Ruca took control early. Becky later slowed her down and hit a top-rope leg drop for a near fall.

Ruca rallied and kept pushing the champion. Lynch countered a Sol Snatcher into an armbar, but Ruca escaped and turned it into a crossface.

The match grew more intense after Carr had to leave the ring to avoid contact. That delayed a count on a Lynch roll-up, which only made Becky more frustrated with the referee.

Ruca later hit a huge X-Factor from the top rope for another close near fall. Lynch answered with a superplex, but Ruca fought back and sent both women crashing down with a superkick.

The champion appeared close to retaining after hitting the Manhandle Slam, but Ruca kicked out. Moments later, Ruca used the same move on Lynch before creating one final opening.

Ruca then struck with the Sol Snatcher out of nowhere and pinned Lynch to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The victory ended Lynch’s title reign and gave Ruca a breakout moment on one of WWE’s biggest international stages.
