TKO filing confirms major contract extension for WWE President

Summary

– Nick Khan has signed a new deal to remain WWE President through 2030

– TKO’s filing lists a $2 million salary for 2026 before a raise to $3 million starting in 2027

– Khan’s bonus structure could reach $6 million annually if performance targets are met

Nick Khan is staying with WWE for the long term after signing a new agreement with TKO Group Holdings.

According to TKO’s filing, Khan signed the deal on May 4, 2026. The agreement keeps him in place as WWE President through 2030 and confirms he will continue working out of Los Angeles, California.

The filing also revealed the deal’s financial structure. Khan will earn a $2 million base salary through the end of 2026. Starting January 1, 2027, his annual base salary will rise to $3 million for the remainder of the agreement.

Khan is also eligible for major performance-based bonuses. His 2026 target bonus is listed at 150 percent of his base salary, which would be about $3 million if the required goals are met.

Beginning in 2027, Khan’s target annual bonus rises to 200 percent of his base salary. That means he could earn about $6 million per year in bonuses from 2027 through 2030, depending on TKO’s performance metrics and company goals.

The agreement states that bonus payments are tied to performance and require Khan to remain employed and in good standing on payout dates.

Khan’s extension further strengthens his position as one of the most powerful executives in wrestling. Since joining WWE, he has played a major role in media rights deals, international growth, sponsorship expansion, premium live event business, and the company’s move into the TKO era after the UFC merger.

The new deal shows TKO’s continued confidence in Khan’s leadership. With WWE operating under a larger sports and entertainment structure, Khan will remain one of the key figures shaping the company’s business direction through the end of the decade.
