WWE star lands gory film role while recovering from injury
Summary
– Chelsea Green revealed she has landed a role in an upcoming horror movie
– She said filming begins soon and described the project as very gory
– Green is currently sidelined from WWE competition due to an ankle injury
Chelsea Green is expanding her career outside the ring as the WWE star has confirmed she will soon begin filming a new horror movie.
While speaking with Candace Cordelia of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Green shared that she recently secured a role in an upcoming horror film and made it clear that the project will not hold back on the violence.
She described the movie as extremely gory and said filming is set to begin within the next few weeks.
Green explained that acting has become another important creative outlet for her, much like wrestling, and she wants to continue building her experience in that world.
She said she approaches acting the same way she does wrestling: wanting to get out there, perform, and keep building her resume over time.
The timing works well as Green is currently away from in-ring competition while recovering from an ankle injury she suffered back in February.
The injury temporarily slowed her momentum in WWE and has kept her sidelined from active competition during recovery.
This is not her first acting project, either, as Green has already started branching into film work outside WWE.
Back in March, Deadline reported that she would also make a cameo appearance in Hate The Player The Ben Johnson Story, showing that her work in entertainment continues to grow beyond wrestling.
With another movie now lined up and cameras set to roll soon, Green is making the most of her time away from WWE television by adding a new chapter to her career.
Between wrestling and acting, she appears focused on building opportunities in both worlds while preparing for her eventual return to the ring.
