The main event lineup for WrestleMania 42 has officially been confirmed, locking in the biggest matches that will close each night of WWE’s annual showcase.

Ticket listings on WWE’s official website confirmed that the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will headline Night One. The World Heavyweight Championship match between CM Punk and Roman Reigns will cap off the second night.

Rhodes and Orton arrive at WrestleMania following a violent confrontation on SmackDown. A contract signing between the two quickly fell apart when Orton attacked Rhodes moments after shaking his hand.

Orton delivered a low blow before launching a brutal assault. He threw Rhodes across the announce table and slammed his head into steel steps that had been positioned near the desk. The attack left Rhodes busted open as officials rushed to stop the chaos.

The broadcast ended with Orton sitting in the ring holding the championship while Rhodes remained lying out after the beating. That moment set the tone for what is now confirmed to be the Night One main event.

Night Two will feature another major title showdown when CM Punk defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns. Their rivalry has been building for months, and the match will now close the biggest weekend on the WWE calendar.

WrestleMania 42 already features several major title matches, with more announcements expected as the event approaches. Brock Lesnar has also issued an open challenge that still awaits an opponent.

The two-night event will take place on April 18 and April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Both nights are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern as WWE prepares for one of its most stacked WrestleMania cards in recent years.
