War Dogs trio scores dominant win in first AEW match together

Summary

– David Finlay competed in his first AEW match on Collision

– Finlay teamed with Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors as part of The Dogs

– The trio defeated enhancement talent in a dominant trios match

David Finlay officially stepped into the ring for his first AEW match during the March 7 episode of Collision.

Finlay teamed with Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors, continuing their alliance known as The Dogs. The trio faced three enhancement talents in a trio’s match and quickly took control of the contest.

The group overwhelmed their opponents from the opening moments of the match. Their aggressive offense kept the opposition on the defensive as the trio secured a decisive victory.

The match marked Finlay’s in ring debut for All Elite Wrestling. His appearance came only days after he first showed up in the company during an episode of Dynamite.

During that earlier segment, Finlay joined Kidd and Connors in attacking Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin after their match. The ambush immediately positioned the group as a new threat within AEW.

Before arriving in AEW, the trio had been competing together in New Japan Pro Wrestling as part of the Bullet Club War Dogs faction. Their move to AEW brings that partnership onto a larger stage in front of a new audience.

The rivalry with Cassidy and Allin is expected to continue. Finlay is already scheduled for another match on the upcoming episode of Dynamite, where he will team with Kidd in a tag team contest.

That match will see them face Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin as tensions between the groups continue to escalate.
