Ridge Holland has confirmed that his time with WWE is ending. The former NXT standout and member of The Brawling Brutes announced that the company has informed him it will not renew his contract when it expires on November 14.
Holland, recovering from an injury sustained during a recent TNA Wrestling taping, revealed that WWE will continue to cover his rehab expenses. However, his guaranteed pay will stop once the deal officially ends, leaving him unable to compete for at least six more months.
In a reflective message shared on Instagram, Holland expressed frustration and gratitude, acknowledging the setbacks that plagued his WWE career while thanking those who supported him through difficult times. He also said he plans to stay active by launching an online coaching business during his recovery.
Before his injury, Holland made a name for himself as part of The Brawling Brutes alongside Sheamus and Pete Dunne, appearing on both NXT and the main roster. His release adds to a growing list of October departures that have included several NXT talents such as Stevie Turner.
